In this class, participants will create a bold lion-themed artwork that combines the rich texture of intaglio-inspired design with the layered beauty of decoupage. Students will incorporate decoupage elements—specialty papers, Southeastern colors, and spirited embellishments—to enhance your design and bring your Lion to life. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind piece perfect for displaying at home, in your office, or gifting to a fellow Lion fan. No prior art experience is required, and all materials are provided.

Course Description: Explore the beauty of texture and layered design in this hands-on class focused on creating intaglio-inspired artwork on canvas using decoupage techniques. Participants will learn how to build dimension and depth by applying raised mediums and decorative elements to achieve the look of traditional intaglio engraving. Through guided instruction, students will also transform oyster shells into elegant decorative pieces using select papers, apply adhesives, and incorporate finishing techniques such as metallic highlights and sealing for a polished result. Perfect for beginners and experienced creatives alike, this class encourages artistic expression while producing unique keepsakes or gifts.

Focusing on breath, movement, and mindfulness, this class is a great place to step onto your mat whether you’re new to yoga or already practicing.
