ACT Prep (Hammond Campus June 17th & 24th)

This program is for students who need general help with the ACT to learn how to problem-solve and create a study plan. It covers general strategies for the ACT, focusing on 1-2 specific strategies for each test. It has a workshop approach. This session lasts for 2 hours; an optional practice test is available (3 hours and 15 minutes) where students would receive a detailed score report of their results as well as an explanation of what to continue to focus on before the test. The price includes a copy of the Official ACT Test Prep Guide Book.

Basics of Digital Photography (Jun 26th)

This course will help you use a digital camera (whether a point-and-shoot or a DSLR/Mirrorless) to make great images. Class includes instruction on knowing the camera dials, exposure modes and focus and composition. There will be demonstrations, hands-on practice, and access to exclusive bonus content on editing your photos. Students should bring a digital camera. It does not have to be an expensive SLR or mirrorless camera, but it is helpful if it has manual controls (the “M” on the dial).

Intermediate Digital Photography (Jul 22nd)

If you’ve gotten the hang of taking photos with your digital camera and are ready to go to the next level, this course includes instruction on advanced composition, subjects (like portraits and sports, etc.), and editing basics. There will be demonstrations as well as hands-on practice. Students should bring a digital camera.
