This engaging class welcomes rose lovers of all experience levels-from curious beginners to seasoned Gardeners. We will explore what makes roses such rewarding plants, how they thrive in Louisiana’s unique climate and the simple techniques that help them flourish year after year.

Celebrate spring with a fun and creative Easter Bunny Decoupage class! In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the art of decoupage while transforming a charming wooden bunny into a one-of-a-kind seasonal décor piece. You’ll explore layering techniques, patterned papers, and finishing touches to create a beautifully textured design perfect for Easter or spring decorating. All supplies are provided, and no prior experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and get ready to craft a festive keepsake to display or gift!

This course will be given over two days, each lesson being 2 hours long. All materials will be provided. You will begin by learning what brush lettering is and practice the technique. Next, you will move on to watercolors and practice brush motions, hand pressure, and shapes so that you can paint leaves and flowers for a wreath. The final project will include a floral rose wreath with leaves. In the center you will brush letter a quote of your choosing or use the one provided.

U-Prep Test Prep (Aimee Urdiales, instructor) is pleased to propose a two-session, in-person ACT Prep Workshop designed to equip high school students with essential strategies, content knowledge, and practical experience to succeed on the ACT.
