2026 HAMMOND CAMPUS: Introduction to Mixology: Intro to Classic Cocktails & Professional Drink Making (Tuesday, Jul. 28th) 6:30pm - 8:00pm
This hands-on introductory mixology course teaches participants the fundamentals of cocktail creation, bar tools, ingredient selection, proper measuring techniques, and professional drink-making skills. Students will learn the history and preparation methods behind three classic cocktails: Classic Daiquiri, Moscow Mule, and Mojito. Throughout the course, participants will gain an understanding of cocktail balance, fresh ingredients, shaking versus stirring techniques, proper glassware selection, and responsible beverage service. Designed for beginners and cocktail enthusiasts alike, this course provides a fun and educational introduction to the art and science of mixology.
