DESCRIPTION:Livingston Parish has a long history with strawberry farming. While commercial production is now limited to just a few farms in the Parish, backyard plantings are still very popular with homeowners. Join LSU AgCenter Livingston Parish Horticulture Agent, Clark Robertson, and Livingston Master Gardeners to learn how to plant and care for strawberries for your own berry delicious harvest. Each participant will receive bareroot strawberry plants to take home for planting in the ground or in pots. You will also receive a strawberry growing guide.
