DESCRIPTION:This hands-on Chicken Butchery Basics class teaches participants the essential skills needed to safely and efficiently break down a whole chicken into its primary cuts. Students will learn proper knife handling, basic butchery techniques, and how to identify and separate the breast, wings, thighs, drumsticks, and carcass for
stock production. Each participant will receive recipes specifically designed for each cut, helping them maximize flavor and minimize waste in their home kitchen. By the end of the class, students will have the confidence to process whole chickens on their own and will have the option to purchase a basic butchery knife to continue practicing at home.
