DESCRIPTION:This hands-on Sushi 101 class introduces students to the fundamental techniques and ingredients used in preparing fresh, delicious sushi. Participants will learn about sushi rice preparation, knife skills, common sushi fillings, and proper rolling methods. Each student will create their own sushi rolls while gaining an understanding of food safety and presentation principles. By the end of the class, students will have the confidence to make sushi at home and for $5 will be able to purchase their own sushi mat for future practice.
